    Hello everyone.

I am very green to this world and I am seriously looking to get my tank up and running. I live in the St. Louis area and many of our stores are shutting down so it never hard to get some help getting supples and getting set up. Does anyone know any St. Louis stores or hobbyist that could help me get going?

I have a 75 gallon tank and looking to set up a reef and fish tank. While live rock, live sand, T5HO light and sump refugium set up. Being new to this I know the items I need but not the skill to pick the items and set the plan in moment.

    HELP ME! :-/

There are 2 local clubs that I remember of. Google them one name slash or something. There is a store over by chesterfield that was pretty good. Haven't been there for ages.

Thanks guys I will post in the equipment thread for the tons of things I need and I check out the local clubs as well. I did have quick question though. With a 75 gallon tank do you have to use all 75 pounds of live rock and live sand? Is that a standard rule or what? Was thinking that less rock allows for more room for the fish and grow of the corals..

Define what you want. Do you want fish dominated tank with a few corals because they are cool looking? Do you want an SPS dominated tank and fish are only in there to poo and provide food for your coral? Or, are you somewhere inbetween?

I'm on the middle ground really. I love the corals but I'm a fresh water guy at heart so the personality of the fish are important too. I had Cichlids before they are very active and they have great personalities.
