Stability - Helps Cycle Faster?

Good. I must have misunderstood something in a previous post.

Here is how to cycle a tank. Put 6 2-4 inch live bait shrimp in there and feed them daily.

Done.

 

if you're not close to the ocean, good luck finding live bait shrimp. Plus they will die from the nitrates.

Might as well cycle with a mollie if you're going the cheap route. You can pick up 6 feeder mollies for $1 here, toss all of them in the tank, some will convert right away to salt, some wont thus feeding your cylce.

Well, not until I fed them to the other shrimp
