If your adding a sump it might be ok, but if not it looks like it might be pushing it. I have seen smaller tanks with even more livestock but it dosent make it any more ideal. Your list is about 20" of fish so if you want to go by the books you'll want to have 20 extra gallons of tank water or so in a fuge, sump or a combination of the 2. Or you could just get 1 clown fish and call it a day.

yea, i won't be having a sump, and i'm also not that crazy about clown fish, but 1 might work, lol that way my parents can have their nemo like they want.

lol funny about the nemo thing, after we had setup my tank, Finding Nemo was on one of the local channels, and my parents had never seen it before, and they watched it, so now they want me to get a clownfish. And my sister (22years) saw the movie before and said it was such a good movie, and she was like you should put a Dorey in there, and i was like no, maybe ok on the clownfish but no on the tang lol

i'm glad this is my tank and not theirs, if it were theirs they would have put clown fish, a hippo tang a yellow tang, and who knows what else in the 46, but i have said no to both tangs :D

by the way pufferchick. I've been trying to get you a pic of my melanurus for the last 2 weeks and can't get one. He is too fast. He is a brave little guy tho. He used to be scared of my bluejaw trigger (trigger tried to eat him upon addition) but he now swims right in front of my trigger all the time. Trigger doesn't even look at him as food anymore.

If you want something colorful you should try a dwarf angel. Fairly easy to care for (some can be picky eaters) and so far we've owned two, and neither of them have had coral nipping problems.

Brightly colored and easy to care for dwarfs are:
-Coral Beauty (my mom's favorite fish until it jumped)
    -Lemonpeel (Very bright yellow)
    -Flame Angel (bright red)
-Pygmy (what we have now, much smaller than other angels and yellow and blue coloring)

I think you'd be fine with some clowns (or just one), a wrasse, and a dwarf angel of sorts. That's about 14 or so "inches" of adult fish, depending on species. If you get a beastly skimmer, you might be able to squeeze one more fish in there because of that massive amount of rock in that tank :)
