    I just got a sump for free. One of my friends had one and it was free for them. Now I need plumbing advice. I believe I will need about 7ft of head for the pump. Ball valve or gate valve. I can plumb it just not sure what products I will need.

    Get a gate valve. It will save you time and frustration. They are a lot more accurate and easy to dial in.
