I am a little worried that there is no center brace so I wanted to get everyone's opinion.

Should I put in a center beam on this stand?

    Thanks for your help!

Just don't want a big flood. I have already had 55 gallons of water but wasn't sure if the stand could hold the extra weight of the sand and live rock when it is all in there without collapsing the tank. Just wanted opinions.

better to be safe than sorry on something like this. It does not look like it would be to hard to throw a coulple cross brases in there.

    good luck

yeah i def would just to be safe as well, even most of the weight will be on the edges, some braces will just make it stronger..most tanks have a little lip on the bottom of the brace, so the actual bottom of the tank is not directly sitting on the stand, all the pressure is on the black rim on the bottom..

at least that is what i have been told..

agreed, not saying it couldent hold it but a few 2x4 braces and you would be golden for whatever

Thank you for all of your input. I will be putting in two center braces so the tank can sit on those as well! Almost there with the equipment.
