Standard thickness of a 55 gal. tank?

    Any body know if there is a standard thickness of the glass for a 55 gal. (48"x12"x20")? Or does it depend on the manufactuer?

    not sure myself but Im certain there is a formula based on tank sizes
    smaller tanks 10 gallons sort of size are made from 4mm glass with large 6ft tanks made from 10mm or 12mm and all other sizes made from glass thickness between those ranges

    someone might know for sure
