I have a brown star fish that was getting sucked up by my anemone. I saved it and now two of the starfishes legs are....deflating I guess would be the best way to describe it. I would take a picture of it but the batteries on the camera are dead. Should I leave it and see what happens or take it out?
here is a picture of it before it got injured.

starfish can loose their legs and regrow them. I would think the best thing right now is to leave it alone. Will probably loose the legs I think. Do you have a sump? If you do put it in the sump and let it be but dont forget to put some meaty food for it to it

Is your anemone goin to eat it again? If so, I would put him somewhere safe. The blue star I had years back had gotten an injury to his body somehow. But the other fish noticed it and wouldnt leave him alone. Of course he died, I wish back then that I knew how to care for them. That poor guy didnt stand a chance with an injury.

I might have to put it in the fuge for now and see what happens

The funny thing is that they have been in there for months together and He has usually avoided the anemone but this time I guess it got to close....

well the other reason I suggest the sump is that other fish will now probably pick on him as he looses his legs....they will eat the tissue
