star polyps

    how do i help my star polyps attach themselves to live rock?
    it hapened once and i want it to happen again!
    wut would be ideal conditions for star polyps

    The easiest way to do this, is to get a little container and put some CC and the polyp in it. Cover it with a net and let the polyp attach its self to the CC, then glues that piece of CC w/polyp to the rock you want it on.

    my star polyps are on a rock that i bought them on
    i moved it once when it was in my 90 gal and underneath the rock it spread to another

    if the polpys are not attached to anything or you have removed some from the colony and relocation "it", then you follow my per post. IF it already attach to a piece of live rock it will not work.

    Yes saltwater has to be in the container:wreck:;D.
    you just put your polypè CC è contain in your tank. it will take a few day for it to attach to a piece of CC.

    Don bother with the CC method. Takes to long and is a PITA, at least IMHO. Just superglue the mat of the polyps back down on the rock. Super Glue Gel works best.
