Is it possible that a starfish hitchhiked on my live rock? I am just now noticing this thing tonight Thanksgiving and the tank has been set up since March so thats a long time. This creature is about the size of a dime but it has seven points is that even a species of starfish? I have absolutely no idea what this is but its too small to get a good picture of so I dunno, its white if that helps

No after further investigation I do believe what I saw last night was an aterina starfish. It seems like these guys multiply quickly and eat coral is this correct? I wish I would have taken it out last night now its gone. Do you think one of my fish may have ate it?

+1 on the asterinas, if they ate corals I would have no coral, just a biblical type starfish plague.
