    yeah, its gonna save me some money too..but im gonna have mad flow in it.. i think im gonna like it, im not a fan of deep sand beds, so with my 40 having little sand bed i shouldnt notice it too much

    HAHA! Finallyyy "figured out" how to make a build thread I see?? Well congrats. The scape looks AWESOME. I love the rock you have in there. What kind of lights/bulbs are you working with?

    I haven't ever had a deep sand bed either, even in my 40 there is like 1 inch just enough to cover the bottom. Same with my bio cube. I hope you like going bare bottom, but like steve said its easier to add it then take it away so I think it was a good choice

    girls are soo good at making aquascapes...come do mine for my 150

    haha helps that Im an art major in sculpture :) I would so love to come and help you do yours! seriously I would haha buy me a ticket and im sooo there :p unlike you I haven't finished college yet, so im still poor !

    hahaha NO I still cant figure out how to get it on my profile under best threads! :shout: haha But thanks! I dig the scape too, Its going to change next week a bit I have a few last pieces to transfer over. Its a lot different than the rock thats in there, I will have a nice variety. I have the nova extreme pro fixture with six 36" T5HO bulbs, Idk what watt.. but they sure are keeping everything really happy ! next week the clowns go in and i'll post some more pics :)

    Ahh sweet. I have a 4 bulb fixture myself. I have a few sps frags that are doing great btw, in case you had any reservations of adding sps under the T5's. But all 36 inch bulbs are 39 wattttttttts. Very exciting though. I'm sure the little guys are gunna go crazy with all the new space!

    haha Yea I have some SPS that came on the rock that seems to be doing well!! And thanks thats always good to know the watts haha, I hope they don't go too crazy they are hungry little buggers I fed them 3 times today. Not a scrap of food went to waste, I have to target feed the clown goby in the tank or else he doesn't get ANY they are little piggies!
