    Ohh okay yeah I know what your talking about.. I have some of that under my sand actually. Seems like that would cast a shadow..

    hmm I didn't think about that, I will have to see I have some mesh screen too I could easily make a frame for.. im not to worried.

    the eggcrate im talking about is what everyone makes their frag racks and covers out of...its in the lighting area of home depot..eggcrate is the white plastic stuff that covers the lights in classrooms and office buildings

    for my 150 i have glass shields so i didnt have to make anything, even tho eggcrate is bigger than the window screen and i guess if you had a small enough fish like a firefish something could jump through..the window screen to me looks like it would weaken your lights more than the eggcrate, idk 100% if thats true, but using common sense, the eggcrate should let more light through since its bigger over the tight stitched window screen.. idk it could be completely opposite, i have been drinking and the mind tends to ramble elsewhere when it comes to fish tanks and old charter on the rocks

    hahahah starfish starfish, Oh how I love starfish. I REALLY want a fromia star... this is true. I just can't find one.. I might still though :) I will try my best to get a picture!

    if your water is dirty or cloudy you can see a little bit of the little squares, but thats only like if your sand has been mixed up or something..

    Updattess :) So starfish finally got a starfish :D I will post a pic and I would like an ID the fish store I got him from said it was a fromia.. in the book they had it said he fed on sponges and meaty foods. Any other advice would be great. Also Im not quite sure how I should go about acclimating him to his new environment. I don't want to drip acclimate him really he's floating now pics to come! I also got a cleaner shrimp :)
