    Alright PICS! his bottom is ver orange and he is black and orange on top.. I can't find any pictures of him online so Im starting to doubt what kind of starfish he is. Any ID would be great to let me know if he needs to be in the summmmp.

    Wow, 34 pages to a 2 month old post! What is your secret?

    Anyway, I have no idea what kind of sea star that is. Sea Stars are generally non-reef safe so I don't even bother researching them. (I'm a great help, I know)

    Very cool. I had one till my nuke went off... he was just a sand sifting star though and almost never came out during the day. Even at feeding time, he'd stretch an arm or two out far enough to grab a bite and that was it...

    haha mostly just me and AW and saintsfan blabbin on hahaha im really hoping he is reef safe.. guess we will find out..

    yea he is really cool looking, I love the orange

    I had a sandsifter he was really cool I liked him, he came out a lot!

    Awesome! Looks to me like a Fromia, but I'm sure you can ID it better than I can with those pics. Fromias are reef safe and fairly hardy once acclimated properly.

    Take a look at the pics in the link and see if there's any resemblence...

    Yea i'll take more when he is in the tank. Im excited he is really pretty thanks for the link :) good to hear he does indeed look like a fromia
