I picked up a maxima clam thursday for 30$ when I bought it it was teal under the lights got it home in my aquarium and its a very pretty purple! Also picked up the birdsnest frag lovin' the clam!

 

It is a very pretty clam. Congrats on both acquisitions.

If you look down upon the clam from the surface it's probably blue.

I tried to look at it from the top, but its at the bottom and my surface is to agitated by my koralia so I couldn't really see it :/

I have only had one clam before, he didn't to too well in the biocube, do they like high medium or low flow? Any personal experiences would be great! I plan to move him just wanting to find the right spot
