Are christmas wrasses reef safe though..? I like six lines alot.. I just think they're kinda common in reef tanks. I reallyyy like mystery wrasses and all the flasher wrasses, but we'll seee. Yahh I really like the dwarf angels.. I'm just nervous b/c I heard they nippers sometimes.. So if I did get one, i'd have to have my LFS tell me I could trade him in if he was a nipper. Just in case lol. I've had my eye on coral beauties and bi color's for awhile! But there's a few that I like. So who knowss!

star loving your tank right now. but i have a question how much watts of light do you have over that tank.

i had a 30g breeder and i had about 5 watts per gallon and because the tank is 18 inches tall the tank got a lot of alga all over the rock and corals.

    are you having that problem.

Christmas wrasses are reef safe just not necessarily snail and feather duster safe.

I have a canary wrasse which is from the same genus, Halichoeres, as the Christmas wrasse. It has been hard on the small feather dusters and it attempts to get the dwarf
Ceriths but does no damage to them right now. When it is fully grown I am not certain about that. The Halichoeres wrasses are very peaceful.

I have a hoevens & a christmas, they are reef safe. They only thing I ever had them pick at is the snails that fall & arent smart enough to flip themselves over.
