:) I am looking at ordering a new 90 with starphire glass on the front. Is it worth the extra $80?

It's a trade off. Better clarity for softer glass. Which is more important to you? Scratch resistant, or slightly less so for the better visibility.

I must be smokin tonight. I am thinking of the hardness of tempered glass. Pay no mind.

It is very clear. If you can afford it.

I have a couple of friends that have the starphire glass and if I ever upgrade, this is a must have!!!! Only I want 3 sided....Definitely worth the 80 bucks.

I thought it was softer. Like say if you had some coarser sand and it got between the magnets, I thought it'd scratch... I could be wrong though.

    Ultar-Clear Low Iron Glass

Made by PPG. It is a brand name. Other companies have it as well, just called different. Usually just Low Iron Glass.
