    Hello all,

I want to place corals in my tank. The cycle just started last week and I am a beginner SW aquarium hobbyist. A few questions I have for you:

    1) Add corals before or after fish are added?

    2) LPS or SPS

    3) LED system?

Well first off don't add anything till the cycle is complete. Fish or coral first is preference really. Good starter corals are soft corals, like mushrooms and zoanthids. LPs starters would be trumpets, candy canes, or a frogspawn. Stay away from SPS till you get a little experience under your belt as they are tougher to keep because they don't like and often times can't survive wide parameter fluctuations. As for LED's I love them and get good color and growth on all my corals.

Thanks for the input! As for adding, I know not to add until the cycle is complete, so I have about 4 more weeks correct?

Also, which kind of LED lights do you use/prefer or recommend for a 90g tank
