    Hey fellow reefers,
I am currently setting up a 55gal reef and would like some help/suggestions.
I am upgrading from a 29gallon which stock includes a few zoo's, a dendro, and mushrooms, nothing major.
    Fish are 2 clowns(inch, 1.5)mimic blenny,6line wrasse,shrimp goby,pistol shrimp,hermits,snails.

I've got about 50lbs of LR and about a 1.5 live sandbed.
    Koralia 2 & 4

    My questions are;
1-i would like to add a skunk clown and am wondering if it would work with the other 2?
Keep in mind all fish will now be transfered and added simultaniously.

2-i have an outbreak of aptasia in the 29 on the rock i will be transferring and would like to know the easiest way to rid myself of it?
Too many to inject with the juice.

3-i am thinking of adding a Bangai Cardinal, Royal Gramma, and would like to get other suggestions as well as how many is too many?

4-protein skimmer suggestions? tank is not drilled so i may go with a hang on but not sure.

Anything else you may think of fire away.
I am documenting the setup and will be adding pictures shortly.

    Thanks and happy reefing!:cheesy:

    1) Tank is too small for more than 2 clowns.
2)Not sure on how to tackle aiptasia on a large scale, manually removing it with gloves on maybe? Another member will surely help in no time with this.
3)Depends on your filtration. Personally I would not go past what you already have as it is pretty well stocked.
4)For my 55 I have this skimmer 300L Vortex OTP Skimmer

    Thanks for the input.
My filtration is a hang on with lots of live rock being relied on to do most of the work.
My thinking with the aptasia was to add a Raccoon Butterfly and remove it when it is under control.
I've got another tank to move it into when it's done it's job.

i would boil that one rock.

aquac remora pro would be a good HOB skimmer (i had a remora on my 55, did well but in hindsight the pro would have been better)

If it were just the one rock i'd just yank it but unfortunatly it is on them all.:-X
I'm thinking of just injecting them as i remove each rock.
    Thanks for the skimmer suggestion.
