what are you planning on keeping?

 

Well my kids want fish, so I am going to get some reef safe that they can choose, but my main goal will be hard coral. in my last tank that was a struggle so I want to really focus on learning that art.
The only fish I am interested in are those sand sifting gobies. I think they are engineer gobies. We had them before in a mated pair and they were facinating to watch as they dug holes under the rock. I also like porcupine puffer and clowns.
I still need another 300 lbs of rock before I do the live stock, but im finding stuff on craigslist everyday. Most likely Ill end up picking up live stock as part of the deal because the majority of people who are selling on craigslist dont want to part out just the rock.

 

hmmmm porcupine puffers are cool creatures.... but are NOT reef safe. So just a fore warning before you start settin up a reef. Id hate to see you posting why the hell is my porcupine puffer eating everything? LOL

 

Good to know. I had one in my last reef and never had problems. Maybe it was because he preferred to be hand fed krill and judging from how fat he was he never went with out a meal.

What corals do they like to snack on by the way?
