Ew kids actually play with a stuffed animal like that? Oh and it turns out cuttlefish seems to be a popular food elsewhere. Like octos and squid and mantis shrimp. I got lots of google picture of them as food when I was searching for a cuttle picture

And please name one of the cuttlefish "Cuddles". Pretty please. :D

I tell you what Jwin I will let you name one of them when I post the pictures... Haha You can name it cuddles if you want.

The guy I am getting the eggs from and I had conflicting schedules today so we are meeting tomorrow. This allowed me to get a couple breeder nets and get them in and ready for them. I have decided on 10 eggs for a quanity as they have a high mortality rate. I hope to get some out of this and look forward to working with these amazing creatures. I will be preparing later this evening with the breeder nets and doing another large water change to be going into this with the best water quality(my water is in exc shape just has been a while since a wc). I should have some pics started asap. I am also hatching them in qt in the sump of my 220 reef tank and will transport them to there new tanks after the get a couple inches approx 2 months.

my LFS actually ordered many eggs for sale last week end.. some of them hatch during shipping which i thought was so cool..

he was selling them $10 bucks a piece.. is that an ok price?

i was really tempted to get some... for my 20G... but then i decided on no.

15 is the normal price for them per egg with a mortality rate of between 30-80 percent with no alive garantee usually. The guy I am getting mine from is from a local reef club im involved in and they are free to the members with the garantee that the first run of eggs are offered to other members. Its a good bunch of people so with this I am making a club donation. I think your getting a great deal with 10 a peice.
