starting cycle qustion.

    i have a 90 and i'm getting ready to start my cycle. i ordered 100 pounds of rock from reefcleaners and im going to buy 100 pounds of dead sand from my lfs, i will also be buying sand for my refugium. should i buy a bag of live sand for my refugium to help with the cycle?

    Live sand or dry sand doesn't matter from what people told me..

    It is a dry heat, yeah right !
    No live sand is a gimmic IMO, it will not speed up the cycle.

    Buy a piece or 2 of live rock instead (unless what you got from reefcleaners is live).
