    I definitely second the motion on getting a protein skimmer, after a week you will see all the nasty crap(literally) it takes out of the water. You can find a glass shop locally or search on Youtube for a video that will teach you how to drill the tank properly. A refugium/sump is the way to go and as you read more on here you will see.

    As a side note- take it slowly. Take the time prior to setting up your tank to read about all the equipment used in the Saltwater hobby- and to get an idea of how the water chemistry works. Also, read up on anything else that may come to mind. There is ALOT to learn about this hobby, but it's all a very enjoyable experience, and will come in time- either from reading or from alot of questions.

    Remember, don't be shy! Nobody minds answering a couple dozen questions!
