what?? and who even cares what the price is if i want to spend 2k on high quality wood then let me when u can have some 2x4s that look like homedepots discount section. or you can have led every one is instilled to there own opinion.

some of you guys belong at reefcentral i never ever used to have this happen. this is not the first time i have been....called out i guess you could say over some led light bulbs.

Wow, anyways I forogt all about algae scrubbers. I am going to be looking into them as well. Do they really take away the need for a skimmer? As said befoer, the reef ocotpus is a good skimmer.


On a side note, I guess it could said to be good practice to correct someone with a PM instead of in somebody else thread even if no harm is inteaded. I am sure the person asking questions doesnt want to read some of this honestly and is just lookign for answerrs. Just my 2 cents worth lol.

As far as algae scrubbers, I see a lot of people starting to sue them, and it seems to be a good route to try for the DIY guys. Heck, I may try it myself.

 

Nobody is "calling you out". You need to relax. You have just been misinformed about led lighting, and I am trying to straighten that out. If everybody ran around the forum telling people you cant run LED's without T5s mixed with them, you can only run them for 7 hours, and they cost 2-3 grand to buy, then new comers to the hobby would be seriously misinformed about led lighting.
