starting new reef tank need setup help!!

    plumber was here got drains and water supply plumbed to the tank ordered my EXTREME TYPHOON III 150 GPD RODI with Gauge & TDS Alarm & Dual TDS Meter / Water Connection: sv-6 $267 shipped to my door.. gettin closer...

    got pics

    made the stand from 2*6 and 2*4 and like 80 3" screws attaching pics , still needs doors and such..

    210 gallons...drill baby drill:lol: make yourself some nice glass or acrylic overflows while you have the tank empty. is that tank drillable? nope not for your records only, I'm reading it too ;D I'm sure others are!

    so got lazy and bought a hot overflow 2*1" lines 1500 gph and a red sea c-skim 1200. dosing pump lines plumbing ... list goes on hate when your on a web site and you go hey this looks cool its only 14$ and add 2 of them... starts to add up quick....

    half full of water and stand and tank are doing fine hope my office floor holds up , its supported by steel scafolding or pallet racking....

    hmm plumbing problems... pumps are 3/4 and 1" outs skimmer is a very small 3/8 they say 1/2 flex but they lie... sposta put 400 gph thru a 3/8 line? and siphoning back to sump could be problem..think im gonna go flex to pvc then tee off somehow ,anyone got any sugestions for return and feed lines?
    have 3 - 500 gph pumps

    well tank is plumbed skimmer is running heaters are heating sand is shifting and my return pumps suck... very little flow sposta be 475 each but seems like 100 each , must have something to do with the 1" piping , to much water in the column up 6' feet? anyone have any suggestions for say a 1500 to 2000 gph pump submersible?

    tank got its first fish today pulled him out of my sump bag on my other tank so i figured he was in the net so moved him over..got a line on 150# of 5 year old live rock from a local guy breaking down his tank gonna try to score it..
