starting off

    hi, so im interested in starting a reef tank. i have set up a fowlr tank. I dont have any fish that are dangerous to the corals. Im not to fond of how everything works. From buying the coral, do i acumlate it the same way as fish? what do i feed it? how do i feed it? can they be placed with anenomes?

    well most corals are filter feeders you feed them plankton. Some require target feeding me personally i stick to most filter feeders just easier to handle

    You need to decide what type of coral you want to keep and then make sure you have the correct lighting for them. You will have to watch tank parameters more closely and probably invest in a skimmer if you don't have one already.

    if you see one you like at your LFS find out what it is and go home and read up on it.if you can handle it go back and buy it. about like a fish. the peoples awnsers above me are rite on the money. read up and follow threw youll be just fine. watch out coral has an addiction you could get hooked
