starting up new 150g

    Hi guys been away for a while but now I'm back with a slew of questions I 've finally got a return pump mag drive 18 in my diy sump/ ref thanks to melevsreef so I can now fill my new 150 g
    my first question is if I transfer all my live rock from my old tank with a little sand will it cycle the sump as well because my macroalgae is not doing well

    it will cause a small cycle, but i think it will be ok
