    no ill effects as of now! the readings have been swinging from 5 to 20 a few times though so im curious to see whats causing that. could be a pH swing from day to night and night to day...

    i am just relying on my skimmer to remove the carbons

    Hmm maybe... I always have a hard time dropping coin on test kits but maybe I'll get salifert nitrate and phosphate test kits
