    Merry Christmas!

I just introduced an australian black and white clown wednesday and he hasnt been eating well. He ate a little bit of marine quisine yesterday (two or three bites) but he wont eat. I have fed flake, frozen mysis, frozen brine, and marine quisine. I tried marine quisine today but he didn't take it. Any ideas what is going on? What should I do?

    Thanks

Wait a few days but still feed him; maybe he's just not used to the food yet. And calm down; nothing's wrong yet. If he doesnt eat in a few days then u no something is wrong

Most animals have to get used to their habitat so some stop eatting but when they feel comfortable they will eat again. Try a few different foods to entice him to eat.

Wait a few days as he may just be getting used to his new home. If it doesn't change, id use garlic foods (check with LFS) to entice the fish to eat. Hope this helps. :)

A food I have found that seems to always perk up eating is frozen cyclopeze. I have seen many skinny fish fatten up quickly while feeding that. I also have had good success getting finicky eating anthias to eat with it. Dont over feed the tank just to see this one eat. so long as its belly is not sunk in, I would not get too concerend. especially if it is a wild caught animal.

FWIW, now that I have tried some home made frozen foods with good fresh seafood, and see how the fish respond to them vs things like emerald entree and such, I will never go back to store bought again.
