OK so I've had my lion for about 3 weeks. Its in my 112 gallon tank. Its about 3.5-4in. I started by feeding it minnow feeders then large frozen krill then ghost shrimp,it was eating all aggressively and very happy. Then about two days ago it stopped eating all together tryed feeders and ghost shrimp again won't take them. I checked my water 2 times to be sure and did a water change and everything is perfect. Not sure what to do I have had lions before but never even came close to an eating problem.

Inspect the fish make sure he doesn't have ich or any other noticeable issues, if all the perams are good on the tank then try a garlic soak it often gets finicky fish to snack once again.

It's common for fish to stop eating if their stressed, and stress comes from obvious parasites, but also from erratic light schedules, and pests like other fish. If the lion has other tank mates watch to make sure it's not getting hassled as that will cause unwanted stress.

What is the time frame you are talking about here? Has he stopped eating for a day, days or weeks? Lionfish commonly decide when they are going to humor you and eat for you =) I wouldn't stress until 3-4 full days of refusing food. Also keep tabs on any other gourmet treats he may ne finding in the tank i.e ornamental shrimps, crabs...ect
