My blenny doesn't seem interested in the hair algae and instead of stuffing himself fat like usual he isn't eating a thing and is really skinny.
What do you guys feed yours when they wont eat whats growing in the tank?

I like the lazy little bastid... he lounges around all day like vacation.. he especially likes to chill on my magnetic glass cleaner.

Have you ever seen it eat prepared foods when you feed the tank? Have you tried garlic additives?

I don't have hair algae but I always see mine just munching at the rock all the time. He keeps the tank pretty clean. You sure he is not picking at the rock????

Same thing happened to our blenny over a month ago. Used to pick on the rock, heater, back wall of the tank, and eat off the tang's seaweed clip. Then it just stopped eating. We tried feeding all types of algea wafers, and moved the seaweed clip around. Nothing worked, and he just starved himself.
    Good luck with yours.
