    I have one, it works fine..Keeps a stable temp of 74.5 at night 75.7 during the day.

    that's how it starts, then BAM your tank has more power running through your water then your halides.

    The last thing you want to do is submerge a stealth.

    when i was asking questions and looking for a new heater. i seen some of the pictures of peoples tanks that this stealth pro exploded in, one that sticks in my head was the one where it blew the glass right out of the tank in the area it was stuck to. very sad to see, i feel bad for the poor fish that were in that tank, besides the mess it caused in the peoples homes. so those who's stealth heater just quit working consider your self lucky.

    It seems interesting to me that if you look around on the internet right now all that is found is accounts of Petsmart saying they have been recalled. As far as we have heard officially direct from Marineland so far only lot number 01G31 is being recalled, but they do say if you're worried about yours give them a call. To me it sounds like Petsmart is covering their bases and telling people to just call.

    Before calling be sure to read the warrantee info. There are some details about where they should be placed (Display, Sump...) that may have bearing on whether it's covered or not.

    Im worried now too..I have a petsmart next to my house, soo ill jog down there and give it to them.

    I have one,it works fine,but after hearing all the reviews a while back,i just use it in my bucket for water changes,so i'll keep mine till it drops.

    O man I have like 5 of these bad boys in my tanks guess theyr going back...do I need boxes and receipts?
