Stealth Heaters finally recalled

Yeah, what about those boxes and receipts? because mine came with my 14g and ive been using it with the 29g. So I have no box or receipt.

Had mine for a year and working great, temp never moves from 79. Plus I have no receipts or boxes, and I think I actually bought mine from Marine Depot??

 

I got mine from Pet Supplies Plus. I've had it for over a year. Works great.

 

Yeah, ive had mine fore about 6 months, but one of my friends used it for about 6 months before me and it still works great. But im worried that when im sleeping it will go off! haha

 

I had one explode in my tank two years ago. Marineland sent me a check to cover all damages. I have a 300 in the 60 gal freshwater now with no issues.

 

What heaters will everyone be switching to?

I may be looking in to the Fluval E series heaters or the JBJ true-temp heater. Thoughts?

Unplug the heater from the wall to stop the flow of electricity
Let the heater cool for 15 minutes
Remove the heater from the tank

 

I have not got an email..I got mine with the tank that i bought from someone..

What do i do? i cant just stop using it, i have no money to spend on one.
