VanSiphon dry fit and test...it's flawless, and once everything is submerged I think it will be VERY quiet. Also have the stand done except paint, working on it tonight.

Think I should trim out the bottom edge as well, to give it a look like the top? Undecided and am wanting to start painting! 1st opinion is what I go with...

I'm the only one working on my tank on Sat. night...I must have no life! lol, sure I do, they are all in bed. Anyways, a few shots of the progress today. Not as much as I had hoped for, but the air compressor died on me, and I had to go get another one.

Well I guess it would work with a 20. Kinda seems like a lot of work. It looks like the refuge would be hard to work with. How do you plan to top of? Doesn't seem like a lot of room either. Don't get me wrong it's pretty.

Wow great job things are looking awesome! I think it's a cool idea having the window in the stand to see the fuge. And I like the VanSiphon too I hadn't seen one of those before tonight. Can't wait to see this come along

No skimmer, I am hoping to not need one. I will use a carbon bag in the back of the fuge/sump

Thanks man. I really wanted people to be able to see everything that's going on without them seeing the cords, timers, drivers...etc just so they can get a real idea and it's presentable.

Just inside the top edge of the window I will mount my dimmers until I get a controller to mount in the side panel. Had a guy come buy 180lbs of dry rock from me tonight so I MAY go ahead and order the controller as well ;D
