We're still running. Changed out a LOT of my livestock, well more precisely got rid of it.

Two additions are the tiger tail cucumber and short spined urchin (That's why there is algae everywhere, I don't scrap it anywhere but the front glass).

First pic is the tank straight on

Second pic is actually a picture of my thriving pod population, just to the right of the paly you can see one about the size of a poodle.

third pic is my urchin "Nuffin" (named by a three year old, "What are you looking at?", "Nuffin".)

Fourth, pardon the purple but the cucumber is in the pic.

Fifth, my leather, started out tiny, looking great.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
Nice little critter tank you have going there.

I do not believe I have ever seen a pod that big in a tank.

Nuffin seems more than appropriate, very cute

    Thank you.

If I have nothing else going right lately my pods are healthy and HUGE.

Some of them are bigger than 1/3 of an inch.

Oh and I forgot two of my favorites recently put in Sexy Shrimp.

    is that 2 mandarins a 6line and a occy?

those are all big pod eaters, especially the 6line and mandarin goby's. how are they all doing? i would really love to add a mandarin goby and a 6line and a yellow clown goby but i wouldnt be sure they would all get along. i have a 10g fuge on my 29g biocube so there WOULD be a safe place for pods. but at the same time if i can get them to eat flakes daily then i shouldnt have any problems i wouldnt think

I had one mandarin for a short while, tried pod farming in a separate tank and even was able to train it to eat frozen but the upkeep was too much and I gave it back to the pets store.

A few months ago I went through a major purge of my tank got rid of almost all of the corals, the coral banded shrimp and all of the fish except the two clowns.

I wanted to lower the bioload and simplify the tank.

    current full frontal below
