    That looks like a monti to me, all chalice I've seen have individual mouths. Both look great!

    Yes - Done some checking and it looks like a Monti to me
    One of the corals in the same tank, same type had almost gone around on itself
    giving a bowl like appearance - so bowl shaped - I decided it was a chalice

    thanks for the ID tatted4ever and confirmation Zach - googled grape Monti and found a perfect matching image

    Dont confuse it with the tyree idaho grape monti. Might be safer calling it purple monti cap.... Someone might heckle you ;) Unless it has blue polyps.... But either way very nice pieces
