    No worries Luc

its not actually on the same site - you need to leave the site travel a few 100 yards in the out of town direction , but before you get to the lights , there is another car park and area for aquatic life

most of the stalls and shops at the back are still vacant - its basically an aquarium market extension and overflow zone

but in there are 3 shops doing salt water
1 - is pretty poor without much of interest , but they also often have snails, crabs etc
2 - is reasonable and do have a lot of LPS, brains, scollys, Acans - lots of Aussie and Indonesia stuff and some great colours (Got my Trachy from there 400 rmb)
3 - has 2 tanks only - 1 display and 1 frag tank - and this one has the Rowa and SPS , Marc Weiss reef bugs (They're alive) Bubble Magus NAC skimmers, reactors, magnetic mount waver makers -, KZ additives, and a few other little gems (Salifert PO4 test kits)

check out the reef keeping hobby in China thread, I featured this shop on one of my recent posts

    Thank you Peredhil

    Thank you Guitarman

in the spirit of honesty and openess tomorrow Ill share images of 1 failure
and this is 1 SPS frag out of 17 added that has me perplexed

this coral was cream coloured, and purpled up on the base and on the tips
but at the very same time it was doing this it also developed STN at the base of the branches

the lights are off now, and to be honest I wanted to keep this misery private

but tomorrow Ill show you the beauty and the beast Milli
it has about 1 inch tips of very bright purple with excellent PE
It has a frag plug full of healthy blue/ purple coral and excellent PE
but the 1st 2 inches of the coral are now pure white

Now I am hoping that the healthy coral which covers and goes over the sides of the plug now will eventually grow over the expossed skeleton whilst at the same time the coral continues to move upwards with purple tips

Ill do a when I purchased it and how it is now post

I just have trouble understanding why something that looked to be doing so well, can also be doing so badly ?

here is my beauty and beast post
the above corals where added on or around 24th March

in 1 month this has happened
    [IMG]

from cream to blue/purple and a bad case of STN
The PE is still great on the purple tips and the coral encrusting the plug

yet the other Acro - has shown no signs of any problems , has new growth , tip extensions and has kept its colour really well

    Steve

also my staghorn is going to be another blue purple SPS ( its becoming predictable now) and I have some tiny new growth/ branches
