Excellent growth shots. One day when i upgrade, my dream is an sps tank! Steve, i think you should get a calcium reactor now, your tank fully warrants it!!

banthonyb71 - I have 1 small rock of fan worms and thus far my Radient wrasse has shown no interest
this fish was one of the fastest to acclimatise to my tank
it was chasing pellets within 30 seconds of leaving the bag

    thank you baugherd

I am still managing with manual dosing 5 nights per week with Alk buffer and twice per week with calcium , these combined with 5% water changes are keeping up with existing demand
but I do know that as they grow there will come a time that those levels may be hard to compensate, with what I can dissolve and add slowly to my top off water alone

thanks 2 in 10 - from cream to STN would have been sad, but from cream to bright purple and then have STN is very frustrating

    Written update

not purchased any new corals recently, going to stick with the SPS I have now

did get lucky and found a shop with Salifert test kits, got the Calcium, Magnesium and Alk kits

used them last night and have 1440 Mag, 420 Ca and 8.6 DKH - happiest with the alk test kit as my previous kits ( Nutrafin and Tetra) would be either 8 or 9 or not work at all ( Red Sea Alk pro)
the Red Sea Calc and Mag kits where fine and results when compared to both Tropic Marin and Salifert are within tolerance IMO

been testing twice weekly, whilst trying to fine tune my additions routine

Great Polyp extension. What are you doing to get that?
Are you feeding the Corals? if so what?
