Thank you Ivan, yes a bit more effort IME, but the feelings you get when it goes right make it worth it IMO.

I certainly can elweshomayor - and I will later today ( need to clean the glass as the camera is zooming in on the film algae in macro mode at present LOL)

Great growth Steve. Your tank has really transformed since the start.
As stated, I've finally took the plunge into sps. I got myself some monti frags, a merulina coral (deceased) and an acro frag. Within weeks, I noticed montipora cap growth onto the epoxy i stuck them with. These are all in a 60gal frag tank. Not in my main DT which is softie and LPS dominated.
I'll start a thread for the frag tank soon.
But anyways, you've got some really nice corals and great growth. WTG;)

    update time again

growth on my avatar stag horn has been very pleasing - some of the tips are now producing new branches and these are a very blue colouration

my former avatar coral - looking much tidier now due to the increased frequency changes of Rowa - losing the turf algae that had started to grow on it

Digi come back - this green Montipora digitata had polyps that went AWOL for about 2 months, but after 2 attempts at relocation, I have finally found somewhere it seems contented and an almost full polyp array is a positive sign

not posted much on this one previous, a rather plain brown SPS , but after a few months the polyps are showing a green tint and the rest of the coral is also colouring up

one of my favourites - another cream coral that has slowly changed to blue, mostly on the tips and on the new growth on the plug , but eventually hopefully throughout the whole coral

The STN victim- the rot has stopped and IMO declined, the base is covering over nicely with plenty of new growth tips and the algae is receding again due to frequent - bi monthly changes of Rowa

another one of my previous avatar corals - growth has continued, but not as symetrically as previous , looks like I have some definite frag candidates on this one

    more later

    thank you ReefSparky

another one of my long time favourites - this one is spreading nicely over the base of the rock it came on and has 2 acro crabs resident
1 moved onto it from my yellow tree acro for reasons best known to itself?

another Milli thats improved in coloration over the months I have had it
not a rapid grower by any means but steady and always alert

The Twinky bar has tripled in terms of number of branches since I got it
again not rapid growth, seems to spread around itself rather than increase lenght of its branches

Looking great Steve. Nothing quite as satisfying as seeing acros grow. Can't wait to see what it looks like a year from now. 8)

    Awesome work Steve! (As usual!)

I wish I could grow ... or keep SPS for the matter of that fact... :wreck:
