Just awful

 

Time to update thread with some progress shots of the SPS I added on 17th October





as you can see, its now a bright green colour, when it was a pale yellow on introduction




this one is now colouring up on the branches, when I got it just the tips had purple hints





the best by far - this coral is turning a nice blue colour




2nd best for me, some great overall purple colour up on this piece- it was the quickest to start colouring up




the slowest of the group to colour up, its hard to capture on camera, but its developing a red tint to it now

Steve the corals are coloring up nicely. They look better now than when they were added.

I have a couple of other adds for this thread, mostly LPS , brains of various species just waiting for them to get some more intense colouring and then Ill do the before and after shots

you dont really notice it when you see them every day
but when you get to compare images taked 1 month apart
growth is easier to spot

Looking great, congrats on getting the red and green ones. Playing blind man's bluff with the colors can be difficult.

I select based on shape, and the amount of growth over the plug mainly
also PE
I am getting a lot of blue to purple, but thats my lighting I believe
under different lamp combos or different type of lamp, the colour of the symbiotic algae could be different
