It is a dry heat, yeah right !
Boy you have some serious flow going there!

Great FTS, how did you get the coralline algae off the back in image 2, elbow grease?

Are you going to be adding any clams?

Looks sharp, going to fill in nicely with all those sps colonies. Fashionista with the very cool shirt there as well. :)

Corailline - I used a credit card during a couple of evenings last week or the week before - I spent maybe 30 minutes each time on it and although I did not get it all (some places where 3 or more layers thick it seems)

I will be adding 1 clam - waiting until another purple/ lilac on shows up

I will be visiting the LFS soon in the shirt and doing a write up and featuring the shirt in more images

Tank is looking great Steve. How is the leopard wrasse doing? I saw one last week at the LFS and almost bought it but was unsure of their personality and how they get along with my sixline.

BTW everytime I use my credit card on my tank all I hear from the wife is did you really need that?....LOL

Thanks John - yes its all about waiting now
I may add another half doz SPS as I have large gaps at present
and have maybbe 6 spots that would still leave 6 inches of growth room between each colony

Thanks Yamaharider - Wrasse is doing great, it was only interested in pods for 1st day, 2nd day it would eat anything that I could get close enough to the rock, 3rd day it took bloodworms , 4th day, it selected bloodworms when I tried a combo of bloodworm and mysis - it literally picked out the worms and ignored the shrimp, but on day 5 it was happy to come open water and take Ocean Nutrition pellets ! ( my canary wrasse showed the leopard the ropes it seems)

credit cards - cash only for aquatic transactions - no cheques, no cards, = no trail

Looking good Steve! Watch out for those sally lightfoot crabs though. They have been known to get aggressive towards fish when they get large.

Nice layout Steve! Looking good. Is that a bigger tank now too?

Hey break or cut those acros off the plugs and epoxy to the rocks for a more natural look. Sorry I have a beef with those plugs I guess. lol

Love the 3reef shirt pic! Yeah buddy - advertising in the PRC!

I will do amcarrig - I see them in so many reef set ups at the LFS and I have seen what a good job they do cleaning rockwork
I have 2 and these 2 work really hard

    Its the same tank Matt, 60 x 20 x 18
I have less rock this time around as previously some of my SPS seemed to be ending up to high in the reef

Tangster advised me to leave the plugs as once they are fully encrusted you wont see them anymore, they will just look like part of the rockwork

But I might be able to try a couple in the future see next post
