Got myself an easier method to light acclimatise
no need to handle the corals between stages, they can start low on this and I can raise it every couple of days, until coral reaches height I want to locate it

and the 1st 6 residents where also purchased

the plugs that fit these are small clear plastic plugs with a plastic cross head
and they push into the crosses cut in the frag rack

these are much less visible than the large frag plugs that many of my corals have come on
so I will be experimenting by removing some SPS of their current plugs and attaching them to these less visible ones

the usual drab suspects, but hopefully, they will colour up as well as previous additions have thus far

    Thanks Larry

    Thanks Dasco

I have been using 3 stage light acclimatisation, base, low rock level and then finally where I want them

my idea with this is to figure out where I want each coral, and then as I increase the height of the rack, drop the corals off once they have reached appropriate level

An in tank lift service for SPS frags

    Yep
10 bucks, and its a lottery
they have a 1 price policy, whatever SPS you get, irrespective of size and type is the same price
I get an e mail from the vendor when he has new stock
I get a file with images in
I indicate which corals based on images I want
I then let him know, when I will collect
provided I collect on the day I notified, he holds those pieces for me
