Now that is amazing. Encursting that much in 2 weeks, it took my frags months to encurst that much. Ok now you gotta stop the vodka so we can see if that is the magic ( besides your skill ).

Better yet set up another tank and do a control test with the same coral and new frags. ;D

I will be fragging again within a couple of weeks, but it will be different corals this time





I have decided to get 2 frags from each of these 3 corals
you can probably see, which areas I intend to make the cuts from
(Bonsai for reef tanks)

Im using the exact plan as written by Genetics and Stony Corals in "Vodka distilled" notes from the trenches

using 40% ethanol by Volume Smirnoff triple distilled Vodka

basically 0.1ml per 25 gallons days 1,2 and 3
0.2ml per 25 gallon days ,4,5,6 and 7
and then add 0.5ml each week irrespective of tank volume
Im at 1.6ml total now per day in my 75 gallon tank
will be up to 2.1ml as from Saturday this week

Zero negatives thus far
no cyno
no bacterial blooms
LPS not losing coloration
GHA - the little I had is receding
N+P at zero (they where when I started)

Im chasing aesthetics to be honest
brighter corals, clearer water, and less dark green and black on rockwork ( they need to be purple/pink or red)

Nothing wrong with that. that's what I was doing with Zeovit. Same theory for Zeo and Vodka. I'm watching. Might just go with Vodka when I set up my next Tank
