    Hi Steve,

I want to thank you for introducing yet another toy. ::) Now I am going to try one, I liked the way it looked on the thread devoted to it,with the spot light effect at night.

The acropora images right before the sally lightfoot crab, looks like a very interesting piece. Not the typical acro, something different.

So is your new avatar picture the same coral as your old avatar?

    It all looks wonderful.

    Thank you Cheryl
spot light hopefully will encourage more blue zoo's and thus a nice blue coral
it is the same coral as the last avatar one just a couple of months more developed now

yes that acro , seems a bit more scaly than many others of that type

    Steve

    Thank you, John
might get another 1 at weeked as Dingo told me they work on greens really well also

That spot light does color up those corals quite well. I may have to invest in some of those as well.

Man the growth on those acro's is amazing. Beautiful tank. It's going to be over run with SPS in a year!!!

I can't get over that picture of the staghorn. I've never seen polyp growth like that. Amazing.

    Thank you Aaron

yes its worthwhile IMO as it can make a nice coral even more of a feature
this piece even under full lighting, glows now due to the blue LED
making it the piece that stands out even from the other side of the room

Thank you KOgle - got the doser set to cycle 6 times during 24 hours
and my feelings are that this is helping with growth as availablity is more frequent and parameters are more stable ( more instinct than science though, just a feeling I have)
