    I leave it on for all the time the T5s are on, so any FTS shots taken over last 4 days have it on

    I was trying to figure out if the color change was instantaneous because of the light color or a progression because of the coral actually changing color.

    that image was taken prior to installing the Blue LED
    its still nice blue but the tips are much brighter now and the body is starting to show blue colour also

    The coral is actually changing color then and in such a short time. That's really cool. K+

    they are and I have other images coming up that shows coral changing color due to corals surrounding them - swapping of Zooxanthellia I believe

    there is at least 1cm of growth around large percentage of the coral

    acro when I got it November 2010 - thanks again Corailline.

    very plain dull white/ cream color

    same acro 1 month later - colored up green

    as you can hopefully see, the green is being gradually phased out by blue

    WOWWWWW - a little "learn by osmosis" those cells are performing huh?
    Never knew of this physiology in corals!!!
