Thats an awesome offer Red Gambit, but sadly my location means it would be a nightmare in cost and paperwork, and even then probably not possible to do

I have different colour varieties of Zoanthids on the same rock ( mixed colonies made by fragging 4 or 5 polyps from different colonies and adding to same small rock ) and they dont seem to achnowledge each others existance to be honest

looks soo good. i cant wait to turn my puffers 20 gallon to semi reef. I'm just dying to put some base rock in there, but no money. I'm hoping i wont have a huge cycle on his tank.

Can't wait to see this filled with corals :D

K, this did it, thats it, after seeing yamaha and robmans, and now yours I'm gonna do it tommorow. I'm officially settin up my 20g. Luckily I have plenty of extra rock, whats a PL light. I don't want to spend a lot. I can do a DSB, an HOB filter w/ carbon and regular water changes. I have an old internal berlin airlift for skimming. I will be following your thread as well as yamaha and robmans and if things work out and I get this started I will start a thread as well. Good Luck guys. May be slow progress though because I'm busy with a new business and clinical rotations but can no longer live with an empty extra tank lol.

    quick update

swapped out the internal cannister for an aquaclear 20 today, clears some space in the tank and allows more media

will need to add a second source of water movement in the near future, despite fact that both the power head on the internal cannister and the pump on the aquaclear where rated at 600 lph - the internal cannister PH was creating a lot more water movement around the tank

so Ill be out shopping for a tiny PH just to create some extra surface movement and move water around

Snail is doing well - grazing the rock work today
