Hi guys, I bought a little galaxy coral frag at the lfs today. It is on a frag plug and I was wondering what is a good way to attach the frag plug to the live rock? Is there anything that would work if I applied it underwater? Super glue(what kind?) or epoxy/putty(what kind?) If so I'm going to go visit the 24 hour Walmart later to try to find it. Thank you!:)

Pop it off the frag and glue the rock its on straight to the rock. Use super glue gel. There is an active ingredient to look for on the label. search super glue gel on here and all the secrets will be revealed.

ok, I'll do that. Thank you!

Oh and about popping the frag off the plug. I read that galaxy corals are very fragile. Is there any safe way to do this without breaking the exoskeleton?

You'll need to take it out! Saltwater actually cures it!

Thanks guys. I applied glue to the plug outside of water first. Than I stuck it in and rubbed it on the rock a little to get the glue to set.

ecotechs coral glue works under water so you don't have to remove the rock to glue the coral to it. you just squeeze a blob on the coral you want to glue, than put the coral into the water and press onto the rock you want to glue it to, hold a few seconds, done.
