Still Cloudy

    Hi all,
    After 3 weeks now(my original tank which was 6 weeks old and cycled. it leaked, bought a new one and had all the stuff put in the new one LR, Substrate, etc), the protein skimmer has settled, and my water is STILL CLOUDY! everything checks out good, carbon does nothing, there is no air being pumped out, and no sand flying. The fish are looking good (been in about a week now) I tried a clarifier by Coralife, with no results yet. PLEASE HELP!

    Could be a bacteria bloom. How are you cycling the tank?

    did you cycle the tank before adding livestock. did you rinse your substrate before adding it to the tank? was your liverock cured? what kind of skimmer do you have. update your signature with your equipment and livstock...it will help people answer your questions.
