Still need Power Filter?

    I have a 55 gallon tank and I have been running a wet/dry filter along with a power filter. My water tests are coming out good except for a lower ph. Do I need this hang on tank filter as well or would I be fine without it?

    dont need a filter at all technically as long as you have a bio filter (live rock/live sand) and a protein skimmer
