I def get some pics of them later.

I'm honestly not sure how great they would do in a reef? I have heard if big enoug you can keep them as long as there is enough sand. My rays are currently in a 125. Soon my husband and I are going to get either a 300 or 500 gal for them, our shark, and eel.
haha Ya! That was a good name to choose! They do swim around and plow into whatever is in their way. My shark often gets plowed by the both of them.lol

That's cool.Eventually, when I'm on my own have have a big enough tank, I will try to do rays & an eel in a reef. A shark would be sweet. If I had a huge private aquarium of my on. lol.

About a year ago I designed a Google Sketchup drawing of an entire room for a private aquarium..I believe it was about 60 feet X 42 feet? Complete with a large equipment room & several sweeping tanks, floor to ceiling, & a touch tank. :) I'll have to post it later

One of our favorite LFS's in the Jacksonville, FL area has a rather large tank (I guesstimated at around 400 gallons give or take) that's a FOWLR system with 3 types of sharks, 2 rays (like the ones you have) and some big fat tangs. It was so cool. Me want.

My LFS had a blue spotted ray (I think?) for a while. He was awesome, but they finally sold the guy. He was way cool. I've also seen a 125 "amazon" planted tank with a freshwater stingray in it. So cool!

Here's a pic of him from behind. I don't have any good ones on my laptop. I'll have to go check on the desktop and post more.

Ya he's really cool! We've had him since he was in an egg. I'll go look for some better pictures right now. Believe it or not he is best friends with my eel. Sometimes I think that he thinks he's an eel.lol I'll have to try and take a picture of them together.

Proper name for which one? Haha This is over a year old so I'm not sure who you're talking about.

The stingrays are California stingrays, the eel is a snowflake eel, and the shark is a black banded cat shark.
