Stinky water... Change carbon?

    Today my waters kind of stinky, not horrible, but different from what it normally does. Everyone thinks I'm nuts, they don't smell anything.

    I changed my carbon 8 days ago. All fish are accounted for, and I don't see any dead snails.

    I did add a new brain & leather 3 or 4 days ago

    What could cause stinky water? Should I swap carbon out now

    If you just changed your carbon a few days ago, I wouldn't think it has anything to do with that.

    The smell is gone this morning, I have no idea where it came from or where it went.

    Maybe a snail died I didn't see or something anyone else have this happen?

    I guess I'll change the carbon next week.
