Thanks that is good advise! Im only going to do what i feel is right, i personally hate it when tangs are in small tanks so the odds of me getting one really are not too high. Im going to stock the tank which will take a while because fish are expensive, and then i will see if there is any room for a small kole tang.

If i fail once, then i wont do it again :) but if i do in fact suceed i will wait for it to grow and then i will return it to the lfs (they already said that they would accept it)

Thanks alot for your opinion. Its easy for someone to tell someone els "dont get this fish" " dont do that" but sometimes when giving advise you need to put yourself in that person's place, and see their side.

    Thanks again guys and girls!

Any input on mandarins? We will have about 75 pounds of live rock, so thats alot of places for pods to hide and reproduce. Maybe get a very small one so it eats less pods? This will be in about a year of course

I wouldn't.. Just because I haven't seen many people succeed. Even Carey was having trouble, like Her fish was starving itself. Luckily she had a pod tank but she still had problems.

Scooters are mandarins as well. I havent been keeping up on this thread too much, but if it hasnt already been said a dwarf angel would be cool to see. Going with more small fish would be really cool still. Even just a couple damsels would be sweet to see.
